Day 2 :- City tour covering

Begin your day with breakfast. After breakfast, we will begin with the city tour tour covering
Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa.
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for
devotees of Shiva. The largest temple complex in Nepal, it stretches on both sides of the Bagmati
River which is considered holy by Hindus. The main pagoda style temple has a gilded roof, four sides covered in silver, and exquisite wood carvings.
For hundreds of years, the Boudhanath Stupa has stood as a beacon of Buddhist belief, towering over the surrounding town as a giant mandala of peace and beauty and also giant eyes which keep an eye out in every direction. Built sometime around the 14th century, the huge meditative monument is said to have been created just after the passing of theBuddha.
The ancient royal palace of Patan faces on to magnificent Durbar Square. This concentrated mass of temples is perhaps the most visually stunning display of Newari architecture to be seen in Nepal.
Temple construction in the square went into overdrive during the Malla period. While the area
outside looked chaotic and bustling with people constantly moving around, the square wore a
pleasant old day charm. The contradicting vibes made Durbar square in Patan more alluring. Exploring the square compares to walking into a wonderland of architecture of a bygone area.

Find peace and prayers on the little hillock of Swayambhunath in the northwest of the Kathmandu Valley. Also known as the “Monkey Temple” among visitors from abroad, Swayambhunath sits atop its hill, overlooking most parts of the valley. This is a good place to catch panoramic views of the city. The site itself has stood as a hallmark of faith and harmony for centuries. The glory of Kathmandu Valley is said to have started from this point.
