ITINERARY SCHEDULE

1 :- Arrival at the Ulaanbaatar’s Chinggis Khaan International Airport

You will meet our representative outside the airport and transferred to the Hotel. This energetic city of more than one million people is home to nearly half of the Mongolian population. Originally a nomadic Buddhist center when founded in the 17th century, Ulaanbaatar ceremonially changed locations 28 times before settling permanently at its present site in 1778. The city also changed
names multiple times until it was officially dubbed “Red Hero” (Ulaanbaatar) in 1924 upon becoming the capital of the new Mongolian People’s Republic, a Soviet satellite (the Mongolian government answered to the Kremlin until the USSR dissolved in 1991). The rest of the day is free to rest and gear up for the coming days. Meet for a welcome dinner in the evening.

2 :- Fly to Moron, Visit Uushigancient deer stone monument, drive to Khuvsgul Lake

The deer stone is originated during the late period of the Bronze Age. This deer stone represents the power and dignity of the warriors and hundreds of the Bronze Age. The deer stone is believed to provide an over-whelming feeling of relaxation and peace when comes in contact with stone.
Believing that the Deer Stone has great mystic power the ancient warriors sacrificed to Deer stone before long journey and great hunting for receiving favor.
Drive to Khuvsgul Lake & visit nomadic family.

3 :- Hike, Swim, Kayak at Lake Khuvsgul ( can be organize with additional cost)

Khuvsgul lake is the freshest and deepest lake in Central Asia, is positioned in a North South direction with an oval shape. Its length is 133.4 km from north to south while widest is 39.5 km from west to east. This lake has a volume of 380 km3 and it is second in Asia and 14th largest in the world.
Khuvsgul Lake contains 93.6 % of total surface fresh water of Mongolia and 1% of world fresh water. Khuvsgul Lake is surrounded by beautiful high mountains of the Khoridol Saridag and Bayan Mountain Ranges, along the west shore. Many mountain rivers flow into this lake including 17 rivers flowing during the whole year.

4 :- Fly back to Ulaan Baatar, drive to Hustai National Park

Today will have an early start in order to get back to Moron in time for the flight to Ulaanbaatar. On arrival directly drive to the Hustai National Park. in Ulaanbaatar you will be met by a driver and vehicle and taken back to your hote. Also known as the Hustai NP, the HNP covers 50.6 ha land which is home to 459 species of vascular plants, 85 species of lichens, 90 species of moss and 33 species of mushrooms. 44 species of mammals have been recorded, including Red deer, Mongolian gazelle, Roe deer, Wild boar, Wild sheep, Ibex, Mongolian marmots, Grey wolves, Lynx, Pallas’ cat, Red fox, Corsac fox and Eurasian badger. The 217 species of birds include Golden eagle, Lammergeier, Great bustard, Whooper swan, Black stork, Daurian partridge and Little owl.

5 :- Karakorom, Visit Erdenezuu Monastery & Karakorum Museum

Continue eastward overland to Karakorum. On the way visit the Khogno Khan Mt Uvgen temple ruins. Visit Erdenezuu Monastery and Karakorum Museum. Evening visit the Emperors’ Monument. Its hard to believe that this small town was once upon a time the heart of the Mongol Empire that controlled most of Central Asia!
