ITINERARY SCHEDULE
Day 1 :- ARRIVAL AT DELHI AIRPORT (310 KMS – 7 HOURS) / PANTNAGAR AIRPORT(120 KMS – 3 HOURS) AND TRANSFER TO CORBETT NATIONAL PARK
On arrival at Delhi / Pantnagar Airport you will be you will be met and assisted by a Wanderers driver and transferred to Corbett National park ( 2.5 hrs drive ).This is one of India’s best known wildlife parks. Covering a large forested area of 520.8 sq. kms, the Park encloses a large section of the foothills of the Shivalik Mountains, the Patlidun valley and the swiftly flowing Ramganga River. Named after the famous hunter, author and conservator Jim Corbett, the Park was established in 1936. The park has the famous tigers of Kumaon, panther, wild boar, sloth bear, elephant, deer, crocodile etc. The river Ramganga is rich in Mahseer, trout and goonch. More than 585 species of birds have been recorded at Corbett. Relax in the hotel for the rest of the day or walk along the Ramganga river bank. Overnight at Jim’s Jungle Retreat or similar

Day 2 :- CORBETT: MORNING SAFARI AND TRANSFER TO SONAPANI (APPROXI 120 KMS, 4 HRS DRIVE)
5.30am: Leave early for a 3 hr Jeep safari in the Bijrani/ Jhirna Range. Return to hotel. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Sonapani – a quiet, scenic village that is miles away from the tourist track, both physically and mentally.
On arrival in the late afternoon check into the homestay. Enjoy bonfire in the evening. Overnight at Leela Orchards Sonapani or similar

Day 3 :- SONAPANI
To be sure to get up bright and early to enjoy the great morning views of the Himalayan ranges.
After breakfast choose from a selection of activities:
1. Head out for walks in the jungle and explore the numerous walking trails around Sonapani. During these excursions enjoy views of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks, like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandakot, Maiktoli, Panchachuli and Chaukhamba.
2.Enjoy a picnic besides a stream, that is a 30-minute walk from the resort.
3.Explore the traditional Kumaoni villages around Sonapani mingling with the locals and learning their ways of life. There is enough in and around Sonapani to keep you busy the whole day – enjoy the outdoors with picnics in the jungle, playing in streams, fruit plucking ( seasonal) , climbing trees , identifying birds and butterflies on your nature walk -the perfect antidote to our nonstop digital life. Evenings end with a relaxing time around the bonfire Overnight at Leela Orchards Sonapani or similar

Day 4 :- SONAPANI TO BINSAR (APPROXI 50 KMS, 2 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast transfer to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enroute , we will visit the Panchchuli women weavers where 700 village women engage in weaving Pashmina shawls, tweeds, carpets, furnishings On arrival, check into the resort. Binsar has a typical mid attitude Himalayan ecosystem comprising of pine forests on the lower slopes (3000 to 5000 ft) and mixed oak, rhododendron, oak and deodar forests on the higher reaches (5000 to 800o ft). There are over 400 species of resident and migratory birds in Binsar and the main mammal species are leopard, Himalayan black bear, mountain goat, banking deer, wild boar, langur monkeys and a variety of smaller animals like porcupines, martens, foxes, rabbits and jungle cats. Binsar is an ideal destination for writers, wildlife & nature lovers and adventure seekers. The views of major peaks like Chaukhamba, Panchachuli, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, and Kedarnath are distinctly visible from here. There are a variety of activities to indulge like a visit to local villages within the sanctuary to gain insight into the traditional life and culture of the local people , a highlight would be nature walks along streams, through forests of magnificent cedar & pine. A visit that cannot be mossed is to the Binsar Zero Point in the heart of Sanctuary to marvel at unparalleled and panoramic 360 degrees view of the Himalayan range namely Kedarnath, Trishul & Nandadevi Peaks. Day 5 :- BINSAR TO MUNSIYARI (APPROX 190 KMS, 6 TO 7 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast head to Munsiyari – a pretty hamlet situated in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand and the closest you can get to experience the mesmerizing Panchachuli Peaks. Sitting at an altitude of 2,298mts above sea level and nestled in the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, the jewel of Munsiyari is the magnificent Panchachuli – the five snow-capped Himalayan peaks ranging from 20,780 feet to 22,650 feet above sea level, which are so close that you almost feel you could touch them if you reached out. Enjoy the enchanting scenery and the famous Birthi falls on the way – a 126 mts high waterfall. Munsiyari is popular with high altitude trekkers and adventure enthusiasts as this place is the base of Milam, Ralam and Namik Glaciers and is very well known for the captivating views of the Panchachuli peaks. The area is rich in diverse flora and fauna. Leopard, Himalayan bear, fox and musk deer, along with beautiful birds like the Monal, Himalayan Griffon and Serpent Eagle have made their home in the altitude jungles of Munsiyari. Lush rhododendron and deodar and pine forests against the towering Himalayan peaks create a stunning backdrop, making this one of the most beautiful hill stations in the country. Day 6 :- MUNSIYARI - GUIDED SOFT TREK TO MEHAR KUND
After breakfast head out for a short easy trek to Mehsar Kund (1.5 hrs each way ), an old freshwater lake that runs down through the Munsiyari town into the river Ramganga. Enjoy viewing different species of birds enroute. For lunch today you have a choice to enjoy a picnic along the way or come back for a delicious hot meal at the resort. Post lunch, you can relax and catch up on your reading or visit a local market at the quaint little village of Darkot which hosts the tribal antique museum, locally known as Masterji’s museum, and where one can hunt around for Munsiyari’s famous handwoven carpets and Pashmina shawls This is located a few kilometres away from the camp . Alternately, enjoy a visit to the natural sulphur hot springs with its curative effects at Madkot, just an hour’s drive away Overnight at the Himalayan Glamping Retreat or similar

Day 7 :- MUNSIYARI - GUIDED SOFT TREK TO THAMRIKUND
After breakfast proceed for a guided trek to the alpine lake of Thamari, Kund , a beautiful lake in the middle of a forest it is a sight for sore eyes. Its a 10km drive each way and then a 1hr 30min trek to the lake. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch or come back for a tasty hot meal at the resort. Post lunch, visit the Nandadevi temple to enjoy the magnificent views. Overnight at the Himalayan Glamping Retreat or similar

Day 8 :- MUNSIYARI - GUIDED TREK TO KHALIYA BUGYAL
After breakfast, set out for a full day trek to the Khaliya Top (this is ideal for high spirited & physically fit nature lover) . The trek to Khaliya Top bugyal (grassland) near Munsiyari is a challenging uphill 4-5- hour trek at the end of. The climb is steep and can be done on ponies. The challenge however will definitely be worth the fantastic vista from the top. The views of the magnificent Panchachuli peaks on one side and the endless grass carpets of the bugyal (meadows) on the other – will leave you mesmerised! If you are lucky, you might even be able to spot some mountain antelopes and pheasants on the way. Savour a delicious picnic lunch at the top with the entire Nanda Devi range in sight! Your private guide and porters will make this trek a fun and knowledgeable experience. Walk back sans the ponies to the camp and enjoy a beautiful evening with bonfire. Day 9 :- MUNSIYARI TO BINSAR (APPROXI 190 KMS, 6-7 HRS DRIVE )
Post breakfast drive back to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival check into the resort for a one-night stopover. Overnight at Binsar Forest Retreat or similar

Day 10 :- BINSAR TO PADAMPURI (100 KMS, 3.5 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast depart for Padampuri Sanctuary for two days of peace & tranquillity. Padampuri is the prefect getaway to rejuvenate your body, soul and mind in the natural peaceful environment . Located 6000 feet up in the mountains, one has to essentially reach the private lodge by trekking for two kms foot or by pony, through terrace farms and oak jungles. You have to reach Padampuri before 2pm due to timing restrictions of the Sanctuary. Parking of cars is available at the base. On arrival check into the resort. Evening is at leisure. Day 11 :- A DAY OF RELAXATION AT PADAMPURI
Post breakfast, you can choose from an array of activities or you can relax and enjoy the views and the sumptuous and delicious food made from organic vegetables grown in the greenhouse! Activities include bird watching, trekking the different private routes inside the property, riding ponies, picnicking in the hills, swimming in the heated pool! Be sure to catch the sunset or the sunrise off the deck. You can laze around in the glass room during the day with loads of books to choose. End your day enjoying great company on the deck with a bonfire and some great music. Revitalise yourself before heading back to the real world! Overnight: Jilling Sanctuary or similar

Day 12 :- DEPART TO KATHGODAM STATION (60 KMS, 2 HRS)
After a leisurely breakfast depart for Pantnagar Airport /Kathgodam station to board flight/train to your onward destination.
