The park is home to one of the most varied collections of wildlife on the planet. Untapped by man, its natural ebb and flow of flooding makes much of the park inaccessible by road which keeps it a sanctuary for the large concentration of game that lives there.
Not only will he point out wildlife and birdlife to you, he will also teach you to hone and sharpen your senses and to spot the clues that lie around you in the bush
Conducted in open four wheel drive vehicles by knowledgeable safari guides. Special game viewing seats provide excellent viewing and opportunities for photography. (not available when on mobile)
Spend a twilight in the bush followed by a drive to explore the nocturnal world of the bush from owls, genets to hunting lions and the graceful leopard. (not available when on mobile)
Nkwali Camp has a wide view of the Luangwa River. It is overlooking the South Luangwa National Park, Nkwali is ideally situated for the start of your safari.
Enjoy staying in the wild as you camp in well-equipped walk-in tents. The shower is under a tree and the toilet is a long drop with a wooden throne. Every day, the mobile camp will be packed and moved to the next camp and will be ready as you arrive later.
Round off your walking safari by cooling your heels (literally) at one of the remote camps - either Tena Tena or Nsefu Lodge. Both are located near to watering holes or overlooking the bend of a river ensuring that animal grazing will never be far away from your stay!
