Patagonia Photo Tour

Duration: 8 Nights 9 Days

Patagonia, the southern section of South America shared by Argentina and Chile, could well be the most dramatic place a photographer could hope to visit. With barren, wind-swept plains, ethereal glaciers, the imperious Andes Mountains and the rainforests of Chile, this is a magnetic destination with more variety than you can imagine. On this photography tour, you and your camera will encounter nature at its finest. Taking in everything from glacial sunsets to the peaks of the Andes, this autumn adventure in Patagonia is a genuine trip of a lifetime. Fresh snow, enchanting shades of the fall, zero tourists and landscapes to die for… what more could you want?

  • Stunning diverse locations

Photograph some of the most iconic landmarks of Patagonia like the Harbors of Pehoe Lake, Salto Grande waterfall, Laguna Amarga with its salty edges, pink flamingo feeding, Laguna Azul, Rio Serrano Sector.

  • Torres del Paine national park

As we make our way through the heady scenery and near the peaks of Torres del Paine, with any luck we’ll also see plenty of animals too. A puma or two isn’t unheard of, but much more likely is a photogenic combination of guanaco, ostrich and armadillo.

  • El Chalten

Cross over to Argentina to catch the wonders of Andes from another angle. Our first evening will be spent watching the sun go down over a nearby canyon, which offers incredible views of the Andes and the majestic river flowing down below.

  • Lago Desierto

Explore the Lago Desierto area, well known for its many waterfalls as the river undulates through the landscape. We will spend the entire day in the shadows of mountains and glaciers. As sunset looms we will visit a panoramic point on the Fitz Roy massif, one of Argentina’s most famous walks.

  • El Calafate

There aren’t many more spectacular ways to end a photography tour than with a visit to Perito Moreno. On a sunset stroll through the forests, we will indulge in one final goodbye to Patagonia’s dramatic landscape.

Add More Experiences

  • Enjoy a stunning 360-view to Cuernos, Paine Towers, Lake Pehoe and Glacier Grey atop the Patagonian Andes – and not only the view, you will also experience the force of Patagonian winds, a faithful companion in this adventure!
