5. Carrières de Lumières , Provence
One of our personal favorite art locations, Carrières de Lumières is a former limestone quarry which now hosts art-based multimedia shows, projecting images of famous paintings set to music – creating an Art and Music Immersive Experience! Although not too many exhibits, and although short videos for each – each one is distinctive and unlike anything you will see anywhere else! Truly breathtaking
The Carrières de Lumières is just one of the sites belonging to Culturespaces which has a few other art locations with unique concepts, all worth a look and for any art lover definite options to add to your travel wishlist! They are the Bassins de Lumières( Bordeaux) , Atelier Des Lumières ( Paris) .
6. Airpano
AirPano is a not-for-profit project created by a team of Russian photo enthusiasts focused on taking high-resolution aerial panoramic photographs and videos. Some of our favorite picks include the Kamchatka Peninsula , the Milky Way from the Sahara Desert , Diving in Cuba !!
